Associate Professor Eva F Nisa
Associate Professor Eva F Nisa is a socio-cultural anthropologist, Asian Studies scholar, an expert in Islamic studies, and ARC DECRA Fellow at The Australian National University. Her research explores religion, culture, economics, and law, with particular attention to gendered experiences across Asia, especially Southeast Asia. She currently serves as Vice President of the Asian Studies Association of Australia (ASAA), Secretary of the Australian Association of Islamic and Muslim Studies, and GEDSI (Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion) Advisor to the ANU Indonesia Project.
