An Era of Global Uncertainty

18 Dec 2018
By Allan Gyngell AO FAIIA

In a more uncertain world, Australia’s leaders will be compelled to make difficult decisions.

The post war international order has truly come to an end. The international system has become increasingly characterised by strategic competition between China and the United States. Allan Gyngell AO FAIIA was appointed the National President of the Australian Institute of International Affairs (AIIA) in September 2017, having previously been named a Fellow of the AIIA in 2010.
