The AIIA celebrated its 80th Anniversary as a national organisation promoting public debate on international issues. Following the September Federal Elections the chosen topic was Foreign Policy Priorities for Australia. The aim of the conference was to bring together Australian experts in the field of security, economics and global issues and to identify realistic objectives and goals for Australia’s foreign policy.
