Narayan Daw

Narayan Daw has served on the AIIA ACT Branch Council since 2024 and is currently Branch Secretary. He is committed to strengthening the Institute’s engagement with Canberra’s diplomatic community through collaboration and diplomatic-specific events. In addition to his role at the AIIA, he also serves as the Consular and Diplomatic Affairs Officer at the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman.

His interests include international affairs, foreign languages, and cultural exchange. In the late 2010s, Narayan founded and ran the Overseas Students’ Laptop Foundation, supporting students across multiple countries with donated devices. In his free time, he enjoys attending AIIA and other events in international affairs, defence and strategy, diplomacy, and numismatics.

Narayan holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Australian National University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Western Australia.
