Michael is Treasurer of the AIIA ACT branch. Previously, he was immediate past President of AIIA SA Branch. He has held other executive roles including Vice President and Secretary in the SA Branch. Michael is committed to building financial resilience and sustainability with the branch budget, and investing in our members.
In addition to his role on the Council, Michael is Chair of the AIIA’s national Joint Initiative Committee as well as Series Lead for the AIIA’s Indo-Pacific Briefing video series.
Michael is a public servant with experience in budget strategy, policy and program management. His previous roles include in the Australian Space Agency with responsibility for Australia’s engagement with the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, department budget policy, and international science and education policy. Michael has also been an advisor to a Minister.
