The Australian Institute of International Affairs and the Korea Foundation held a Korea-Oceania Next Generation Policy Expert Forum on 9 December 2015 at AIIA NSW in Sydney.

The Forum brought together younger academics and policy experts with knowledge and expertise on East Asia. The objective of the Forum was to provide participants with opportunities to engage in in-depth discussions and encourage policy-oriented research on East Asia, particularly the Korean Peninsula. The discussion covered such topics as the changing strategic environment in the Asia-Pacific, Korea-China-Japan Relations and North-South relations on the Korean Peninsula.
