The recent blog post, ‘MIKTA: The Middle Child of International Cooperation’, by AIIA National Director Melissa Conley Tyler and research intern Doris McDonald-Seaton, analyses the second meeting of the MIKTA initiative. This informal grouping of Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea, Turkey and Australia, emerging on the sidelines of the 68th session of the UN General Assembly in September 2013, discussed in its first ministerial meeting global issues of common interest and released a joint communiqué.
