European Student Conference 2015: The Future of the European Union

Published 10 Oct 2014
EU

The European Student Conference is a unique oppor- tunity to work alongside globally minded thinkers, current decision makers, and renowned academics to analyze the role of the EU and its relationship to the United States. Participants will work in small groups led by EU policy makers and professors to develop policy recommendations, seek solutions to the EU’s problems, and think about how to foster greater US-EU relations. The conference merges academic discussion with real-world interaction—by the end of the conference, delegates will create proposals and strategies and will found a US-based student think- tank for EU affairs.

Why Apply?

  • Play a direct role in developing policy recommen- dations for the EU
  • Enter in a conversation with professors and policy-makers in a personal setting
  • Spearhead the creation of a student think-tank for EU affairs in America
  • Develop papers for a new student-run academic journal

The transportation and accommodation costs will be covered, thanks to the generous support of the European Commission under the Erasmus+ programme.
