AIIA Co-hosts a Diplomatic Masterclass Dinner for Senior Indonesian Diplomats

On 27 May 2015, the Australian Institute of International Affairs, the Australia-Indonesia Centre and PricewaterhouseCoopers co-hosted a Diplomatic Masterclass Dinner for senior Indonesian diplomats as part of the SESPARLU training program. The SESPARLU program conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia is aimed at enhancing capacity and leadership of Indonesia’s diplomats as they move in to senior diplomatic roles.

With the AIIA’s Director of Communications acting as Master of Ceremonies the event featured presentations by former Australian Ambassadors John McCarthy AO FAIIA, Bill Farmer AO and Miles Kupa, which were followed up with a Q&A session for the SESPARLU delegates facilitated by AIIA NSW table hosts Richard Woolcott AC FAIIA, Geoffrey Miller AO FAIIA, Richard Broinowski, Ian Lincoln, Prof. Jocelyn Chey AM FAIIA and Thom Dixon.
