Elizabeth Abbott interviews HE Mr Abdolhossein Vahaji, Ambassador of Iran.

Iran’s role in the international sphere is changing rapidly. The nuclear deal reached in 2015 led to the lifting of UN sanctions and subsequently opened Iran up to the international economy, facilitating greater global engagement.

The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, HE Mr Abdolhossein Vahaji speaks on Iran’s emerging significance in the international economy and global security concerns. This discussion follows from the historic visit of Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Dr Mohammad Javad Zarif who spoke to AIIA NSW in March 2016.

HE Mr Abdolhossein Vahaji is the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He has served in this position since August 2014.
