Matthew Newman is a General Sir John Monash Scholar and a Surface Warfare Officer in the Royal Australian Navy. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons. First Class) in International Politics from the University of New South Wales, a Bachelor of Science in International Relations from the London School of Economics, and Master of Public Policy from the University of Oxford.
