Dr Marieke de Hoon is assistant professor of International Law and International Criminal Justice at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, director of Netherlands Office and senior counsel at the Public International Law & Policy Group (PILPG). She publishes on the law and politics of international law and international criminal justice, interstate use of force and MH17.
