Dr Evgeny Postnikov is an Associate Professor in International Relations at The University of Melbourne. His research interests centre on international political economy and the politics of trade, as well as European Union politics and external relations. His main work examines the design and politics of trade agreements. Evgeny is the author of Social Standards in EU and US Trade Agreements (2020 Routledge, The International Political Economy of New Regionalism) and co-editor of A Geo-Economic Turn in Trade Policy: EU Trade Agreements in the Asia-Pacific (2022 Palgrave, The EU in International Affairs).
