Senator the Hon Concetta Fierravanti-Wells is the federal minister for international development and the pacific. She has been a NSW Liberal senator since 2005. Before her present role, the senator was the assistant minister for multicultural affairs with responsibilities in the attorney-general, immigration and border protection, and social services portfolios. She has also served as the parliamentary secretary to the minister for social services, with special responsibility for multicultural affairs and settlement services.
