Associate Visiting Professor Luca Bussotti

After obtaining his PhD in Sociology of Development at the University of Pisa (Italy) in 2001, Luca moved to Mozambique, acquiring the Mozambican nationality and becoming a Lecturer at the University of Eduardo Mondlane. In Portugal Luca completed his formation with a post-doctoral fellowship by the Marie-Curie initiative of European Union, working on political risk in Mozambique. Today he is an Associate Visiting Professor at the Federal University of Brazil, specialised in political issues in Lusophone Africa, with a particular emphasis on risk, terrorism, security, and peace.
