AIIA for WA 70th anniversary lecture

Published 09 May 2016

This year marks 70 years since the AIIA was formed in Western Australia by Professor Fred Alexander, initially out of the UWA campus.

Since 1946, the AIIA WA has expanded significantly; from an organisation with a handful of foundation members into one with hundreds of members of all ages and backgrounds.

The AIIA WA continues to go from strength to strength – from hosting regular events and talks, to supporting WA students undertake educational activities in Asia through its annual bursary program. The first event of our 70th anniversary celebrations takes place this month – all welcome!
