Greg Austin is an Adjunct Professor in the Australia China Relations Institute at the University of Technology Sydney. He has worked on China’s national security policy and prospects for war with Taiwan for several decades alongside a range of other international issues. He has published several books on China and has consulted for the Australian and UK governments on the subject. He has led research in the International Institute for Strategic Studies (Singapore), the EastWest Institute (Brussels) and the International Crisis Group (Brussels). He has held academic posts at the Australian National University, the University of New South Wales Canberra and, as a Senior Visiting Fellow, in the Department of War Studies in King’s College London.
