Caitlin Byrne is Director of the Griffith Asia Institute. Her teaching and research interests include contemporary and public diplomacy, with a special focus on Australia in the Asia-Pacific region, Korea and China. She is also a Faculty Fellow of the University of Southern California’s Centre for Public Diplomacy (CPD), and alumna of the Asialink Leaders Program 2016. Caitlin was appointed as a fellow of the AIIA in 2021.
