AIIA Study Tour to Vietnam – mid to late October 2016

Expressions of Interest

The AIIA is seeking expressions of interest for a 14-16 day study tour for 20-25 participants to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to take place between mid to late October. Members of the AIIA NSW will be given first preference, however, the tour will be open to members of other states if there are vacancies.

The tour is tentatively proposed to begin in Hanoi around Friday 14 October (participants will be expected to make their own arrangements to get to and from Vietnam) and will engage senior Vietnam officials in briefing sessions and round table discussions about Vietnam’s domestic situation and its foreign policy. There will also be briefings by the Australian Ambassador and the Australian Consul General. Participants will also visit the RMIT campus and engage resident Australian business people and others of interest to AIIA members.

The AIIA will engage the services of local guides as and when required and costings (including four star accommodation and four star travel) are expected to be around $3,600 per person.
