AIIA Fellows 2022

The Australian Institute of International Affairs is pleased to announce the selection of its fellows for 2022. The AIIA bestows the title of fellow each year to those with a connection to Australia who have made a significant contribution to international affairs. This year’s fellows are:

  • Professor Geremie Barmé, for contributions to Sinology
  • Darren Godwell, for contributions to indigenous foreign policy and international business
  • Professor Evelyn Goh, for contributions to the study of international affairs
  • Jane Halton AO PSM, for contributions to international health
  • Professor Rikki Kersten, for contributions to Japanese political theory and defence
  • Professor Tony Press, for contributions to the study of Antarctic policy
  • Morry Schwartz AM, for contributions to publishing on international affairs
  • Natasha Stott Despoja AO, for contributions to women in international affairs
  • Nick Warner AO PSM, for contributions to international intelligence

Fellows nominations may be made by any fellow or member of the AIIA. Nominations for the 2023 round will open soon.
