AIIA Congratulates Queen's Birthday Honours Recipients

The Australian Institute of International Affairs congratulates the following for their recognition in the 2016 Queen’s Birthday Honours.

Mr Gary Francis Quinlan AO, the incumbent Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Representative to the AIIA, has received an Officer of the Order of Australia honour in recognition of his distinguished service to the field of international relations as a senior diplomat and ambassador, and as a government advisor on foreign policy.

Dr Deborah Fielding Seifert AM, former Australian Institute of International Affairs Victoria Council Member, has been received a Member of the Order of Australia honour in recognition of her significant service to education through a range of teaching, consultative and administration roles, and the community.

Dr Stewart David Gill OAM, incumbent Vice-President on the Australian Institute of International Affairs Queensland Branch Council, has received a Medal of the Order of Australia honour in recognition of his service to tertiary education, and to the community.

The AIIA is very proud of these recognitions and thankful for Mr Quinlan, Dr Fielding and Dr Gill’s services to the AIIA and the field of international relations.
