Richard McManus is Professor of Economics at Canterbury Christ Church University. A graduate of the University of York with a BSc in Economics, I went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young. After I graduated with an MSc in Economics from the University of York and completed my Ph.D. from there also. Since then, I have been at Christ Church Business School from August 2013. Richard is Director of Research Development at Christ Church Business School. His  main research is in the impact of government on macroeconomic outcomes.
