Ian Dudgeon is a Presidential Associate at the Australian Institute of International Affairs. This presentation is based on his visit to Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Lahore in Pakistan during 4-12 October 2010. The purpose of his visit was to understand the security challenges that Pakistan faces, particularly in the longer term, from a Pakistani perspective.
