Euan Crone Asian Awareness Scholarship 2017

Published 28 Aug 2017

Calling for applications.

We are delighted to announce that applications for the AIIA’s Euan Crone Asia Awareness Scholarship are now open.

The goal of the scholarship is to expand Australian knowledge of Asia and to promote engagement with the region. It is in recognition of the late Euan Crone’s dedication to deepen awareness of Asia among young Australians.

Applicants should possess a commitment to the deepening of knowledge and understanding of Asia in the Australian community. Ideally, an applicant will already have had exposure to an Asian country in relation to their area of interest, and knowledge of the local language is an advantage.

Applications should outline how the scholarship will be used to deepen understanding of a particular Asian country or a facet of Asia.

Information on selection criteria as well as application forms can be found here.

Scholarship recipients are eligible for grants of up to $5000.

Applications close on 15 September 2017.
