AIIA at the Crawford Australian Leadership Forum

The fourth annual Crawford Australian Leadership Forum took place from June 18-20 at the Australian National University in Canberra.  The forum brought together 150 of Australia’s premier leaders in business, the public sector, and the research and advocacy community for an invitation-only event discussing the major issues confronting Australia.  The Australian Institute of International Affairs is proud to have been represented at the Forum by National Executive Director Ms Melissa Conley Tyler.

The Forum was organised by AIIA Fellows ANU Chancellor Gareth Evans QC AC FAIIA and Allan Gyngell AO FAIIA and was attended by a number of fellows of the AIIA, including Ken Henry AC, Peter Drysdale AO, Geraldine Doogue AO, Peter Varghese AO, Dennis Richardson AO, Hugh White AO, Erika Feller, and Martine Letts.   Also present was DFAT Deputy Secretary and member of AIIA National Executive, Gary Quinlan.

The AIIA were also delighted to see a number of members of the multi-stakeholder steering committee for the EU–Australia Leadership Forum being led by the AIIA in attendance: Pascal Lamy, Laura Tingle, Jennifer Westacott, Jillian Broadbent AO, and Peter Varghese AO.
