First Australia-ASEAN Council Grant

The Australian-ASEAN Council is offering grants for Australians to engage with South East Asia.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade launched the Australian-ASEAN Council (AAC) as an initiative to increase ties with South East Asia. The AAC will focus on engagement through stronger business partnerships, education and cultural links.

The Council will be prioritising funding to promote people-to-institution linkages, promote women in leadership and increase knowledge and cultural awareness . Funding for the AAC Grant is aimed to support innovative proposals which will facilitate Council objectives.

Applications are open to Australian citizens or permanent residents. Grant program guidelines may be found here. The AAC Grant Round opened on Wednesday 16 October and will conclude 12 noon AEDT Wednesday 14 October.
