2017 Taiwan Fellowship Programme open for applications

The Taiwan Fellowship Programme is established and funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) to award foreign experts and scholars who are interested in researches in the fields related to Taiwan, cross-strait relations, mainland China, Asia-Pacific region and Sinology to conduct advanced research at universities or academic institutions in Taiwan.

It is worthy of noting that research themes of 2017 Taiwan Fellowship Programme would be more focused on topics relevant to Taiwan’s diplomatic agenda, e.g.: Taiwan participating in TPP, RCEP and other regional economic integration mechanism, and issues about East China Sea and South China Sea, etc..

  1. Online application period is from May 1 to June 30, 2016. For more information, please visit the Taiwan Fellowship’s website: http://taiwanfellowship.ncl.edu.tw/
  2. After completing online application, please mail application documents by July 1, 2016 to Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Australia (Address: Unit 8, 40 Blackall Street, Barton ACT 2600).
  3. The list of recipients will be released in September or October, 2016.
