AIIA at the 2016 Crawford Australian Leadership Forum

The third annual Crawford Australian Leadership Forum took place from June 19-21 at the Australian National University in Canberra. The Forum focused on Global Realities, Domestic Choices in 2016, and brought together 150 of Australia’s premier leaders in business, the public sector, and the research and advocacy community. These leaders spent three days at the invitation-only event discussing the major issues confronting Australian policy makers and the ways in which they should be responded to.

The Australian Institute of International Affairs was represented at the Forum by National Executive Director Ms Melissa Conley Tyler.

The Forum was organised by ANU Chancellor Gareth Evans QC AC FAIIA and Allan Gyngell AO FAIIA in partnership with the Australian Financial Review, Business Council of Australia and other corporate partners.

Ms Conley Tyler was joined at the Forum by a number of Fellows of the AIIA, Ric Smith AO PSM FAIIA, Professor Peter Drysdale AO FAIIA, Professor Hugh White AO FAIIA, Robert Hill AO FAIIA, Tony Walker FAIIA and Tim Costello AO FAIIA.
